60 (Epic Quests, Episodes 1-3) > Evil Healer

Episode 1

1️⃣ Talk to the Recruiter in Freeport, southwest of the coach, under the tent.

2️⃣ Go to Basher's Enclave (E) and talk to the Seer Yalgima.

3️⃣ Retrieve two Summoner's Wands from Froglok Slayers/Inquisitors in Burial Mounds (SW), near the river.

4️⃣ Return to the Seer Yalgima.

5️⃣ Kill Treants in Guardian Forest (SW) to retrieve two Enchanted Treant Branches. They are located both atop a hill with a stonehenge in the center AND on the hill northeast of that one. This camp used to be very complicated to spawn, but since the Class Balancing update, they've fixed it.

NOTE: To stop the treants from occasionally despawning, kill the Treant Prisoner before he reaches the top of the NE hill. Keep him fresh.

6️⃣ Now head to Guk for 3 Pages of Pardon. The High Shaman is located inside Guk.

Page 1 and 2: Farm the Froglok Channelers/Foragers in any of the OUTSIDE camps. Eventually the Elder Froglok Guk Mystic drops Page 1, and the Elder Froglok Guk Diviner drops Page 2 (CONs red cons red at 60).

Page 1 can also be obtained by killing the Froglok Channelers/Foragers right off the Circle bridge inside Guk dungeon. There are two rooms there — kill and keep all mobs fresh. Farm the one mob on the far left side in the back room repeatedly. Eventually the Elder GUK Mystic will spawn. He CONs red cons red to a 60. — TY Janlynn/Hardway.

Page 2 can also be obtained by killing the Froglok Channelers/Foragers inside Guk Dungeon and spawning the Elder Froglok Diviner. This is VERIFIED!! CONs red cons red to level 60.

Note: It is faster to farm Pages 1 & 2 inside Guk rather than at the outside camps.

MAP TO PLACEHOLDERS INSIDE GUK TO FARM PAGES 1 & 2

Page 3: Deep in Guk dungeon there are "Fungal Cavalier's" and "Fungal Hunter's." After killing these for a while, an "Elder Fungal ..." will spawn in place of one of the Cavalier/Hunters. The elder drops Page 3. This is VERIFIED!!

After turning these pieces in to the High Shaman, you must protect the prisoner (see map). Bring a full group, maybe a few extra. This part lasts about an hour. You get 6 waves of Froglok Bloodletters, which all con red, have a 1k crit, and a 500 DoT. The waves get progressively harder, with more spawning each round. The most I've noticed was 5 or 6 on the last round. After killing them, you get a popup telling you to hold out a little longer. Just wait a few more minutes and the High Shaman will spawn again. At this point you'll have to go back to your Sensei (ensure your quest log says this), and you're done!!

🎉 Reward: 20 Mil XP

NOTE: If you fail protecting, just be around when another person is doing the protection part to further your quest.

Episode 2

The quest starts at Seer Yalgima in Basher's Enclave (NE). She tells you to go to Freeport and kill the Bandits and bring back a coinpurse. In FP, a Bandit Henchman and Brigand will spawn outside the northgate. The spawn time is variable — just park your group there and wait. You must have at least 500 tunar on you for them to steal to get the popup and get flagged. Get close to them (they will not attack), get the popup, then kill them. The Brigand drops the Coinpurse (he drops 3). Loot one and return to Seer Yalgima.

Then she asks you to get her 2 undead souls.

The first one can be found in Centaur Valley north of Black Water. Farm across the river further down — after farming 4 undead mobs, eventually a Wandering Spectre (CONs red cons red) spawned on top of us. It has the Soul of a Wandering Spectre, NTL. Loot it.

The second soul is in Dead Hills (NW), where the PoD portal is. The placeholder to farm is the mob at the south corner of the south tomb. Farm the LB mob there until a Red Derelict Mummy spawns. When you kill him, there is a chance you will spawn a Derelict Mummy's Soul. If he spawns, he'll spawn right on top of you immediately when the first one dies — be prepared.

Note: Yado informs us there is another spot you can farm your placeholder in Dead Hills (south), again on a hill with a tomb on top. The PH is the left one.

Then she asks you to go get the plagued gland from the Plagued Siren. This mob can be found at any of the Siren camps in Odus. She then tells you she is going to use the 2 souls you brought her earlier to call out the ancient soul. This mob is found exactly NW of the Seer, on a hill between one swampy lake, standing by a tree. He looks like a skeletal giant. This mob resists everything except fire-based spells.

Notes: Dead Hills (S) — it's a crypt on purplish colored ground. Red Derelict Mummy spawned; as soon as he dropped, a Derelict Mummy's Soul spawned.

Episode 3

Start off by speaking with Yalgima in Basher's Enclave.

She tells you to speak with Kraznak (who is west of her, next to a rock — TY Yado). When you speak with Kraznak he tells you to speak with the spirits. The spirits spawn right next to Kraznak in 15 minute intervals. After speaking with Kraznak the first spirit will not spawn for 15 minutes. DO NOT MOVE. There are three spirits in total, plus Kraznak must respawn after speaking with the third spirit, so be prepared to sit there for an hour.

The first spirit spawns towards the south. Read the text and progress through the popups. On the first spirit there are no choices to make, so don't exit the screen or you may mess it up.

You will have different response options for the next two spirits. You must choose the correct response or you have to start over (i.e., speak to Kraznak and wait 15 minutes again).

The second spirit spawns facing west and you must choose the third option from reply (something to the effect of the spirits being upset). If you choose the wrong option, you must wait for Kraznak to spawn and start over. After this, in 15 more minutes the next one will spawn.

(Kraznak spawned at this point, but I didn't talk to him.)

The third and final spirit spawns facing southeast. You choose the second option (something about a spirit escaping). After that you speak to Kraznak again. Next step is the final encounter.

Go to Cape Dreg (SE). From SoM just run/swim east — it's a pretty long swim to get out there. You will see a pirate ship. That is the island you want. When you go inside the building, follow the path around to the right and you will drop down through the floor. This will trigger the beginning of the waves. This is similar to the waves in Guk, but the mobs are a lot tougher. Once this starts, the door at the top of the ramp will be sealed so no one can get out (it does open briefly between wave spawns, but no one should leave anyway). After 4–5 waves, Synder of the Indigo will spawn.

Wave Breakdown:

  • 1st wave: Spirits of Syndar — weak against PR/DR (from what casters said)
  • 2nd wave: Syndar Manifestations — weak against CR (from what casters said)
  • 3rd wave: Spirits of Syndar — weak against FR (from what casters said)
  • 4th wave: Syndar Manifestations — weak against PR/DR (from what casters said)
  • 5th wave: Syndar Incantations (unknown weakness)

See note below on how to farm Syndar.

This guy is bad ass. With 4k AC he quads for 1k and nukes. MT him — with rhinos he won't be much problem. After Synder is defeated he will drop 8 necklaces. Loot a necklace and speak with the Ghost that spawns ASAP (have everyone dismiss pets so you can target the ghost). The ghost has been known to depop rather quickly. The ghost spawns right next to the little cubby on the floor.

Gokukicks says: Snyder debuffs your FR by 125 and has an FR-based proc, so his quads are very high once he debuffs you — but overmax your FR by 125 and he's a wimp and easy to tank.

Once he is dead, collect his loot, TALK TO HIS GHOST (spawns in the cubby under the ramp; the ghost despawns quickly), and go talk to Shinlos.

Note: If you think you've gotten all the popups, looted the necklace, and the ghost WON'T talk to you, back out of the cubby and try roaming around the room for another popup. This happened to Jori recently — ghost wouldn't talk to her, but she backed up into the room and got a popup (apparently she'd missed one); spoke to ghost and completed the quest.

After you speak with the ghost you receive a letter and must go back to Basher's Enclave. This is the part where you will receive XP, so this is where you will want to use your XP pot if you have one. Reward is 100 Mil XP without pots. To collect your spell you are sent to Shon-To Monastery (a zone east of Moradhim) to speak with Epidolous. This is where you will receive the rehab. After the rehab you then get to choose your spell/ability. Lastly, you are sent to FP or Klik to receive your weapon/armor reward. The reward giver is located south of the coach.

Farming Syndar

Yado explains his trick to farm Syndar (many people want to farm epic mobs for the epic loot they drop). Advance your quest to the point of being able to farm Syndar. Get out to Cape Dreg (SE) and have your raid crew set up in the room below (you stay outside until everyone is set). Once your raid force is ready, enter and proceed down the ramp, get the popup to spawn Syndar, but don't proceed any further down the ramp so that you don't get any more popup flags. When Syndar spawns, delete your quest from the log. Relog the quest with Yalgima in Basher's Enclave, do the Kraznak spirit talking portion again, and you're set to spawn Syndar again. Happy farming.

Farming AoH

Ozmoseus explains that AoH is a great mob to farm for epic loot. He's easy to set up for, easy to MT, and can be repeated easily in about half an hour. Once AoH is spawned and killed (don't LOOT!!!), simply delete the quest and speak with Animator Jen'Tylis in Green Rift (W). Do the first part of the quest (FP, fungus, & Biddleby) and you're set to redo AoH. Happy farming.
